On 30th May I turned 26.... Now I am closer to 30th, than to 20th. :D
Walking in the sand among the shore, listening to the sound of the incredibly huge waves, picking up some nice shells...It was a nice day. Too bad, I could not celebrate with my family, but only one month, and we will meet! :)
We have already planned days before, how to spend this day. Zandvoort by the North Sea seemed to be a great place to celebrate. We went there by train from Central Station. The weather was quite windy, but this is just something, you can expect in a seaside.
There are many mini snack bars, offering breaded seafood (what else?!) to the tourists. We chose a fishmix, with shrimps, squids and mussels. I am not really into seafood, but it was delicious.
It is just not that kind of shore, that I would choose, for a summer holiday for swimming, and sunbathing, but evidently, this place is great for water sports. Well, for those, who has no problems with the cold water. The weather was especially perfect for water kiting and surfing.
I was fascinated by the many little summer houses.They can be really useful, when people just want to get away from the crowdy cities.
